Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium ripe avocados pitted and scooped
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • For Garnish: fresh raspberries mint, or shaved dark chocolate

Equipment

  • Food Processor or High-Speed Blender
  • Spatula
  • Small Ramekins or Bowls

Method
 

  1. Blend: Add the scooped avocado, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla, and salt to a food processor or high-speed blender.
  2. Whip: Blend on high speed. Stop every 30 seconds to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Continue blending for 2-3 minutes until the mousse is completely smooth, glossy, and lump-free.
  3. Portion & Chill: Spoon the mousse into two small dessert cups or bowls. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow it to set.
  4. Serve: Top with your favorite garnishes and enjoy immediately.
